Going to Battle – Angela Brittain

Each year the Pure Art Group select around 60 artists to take part in the Pure Art Fair at Battle near Hastings, Sussex, UK., and taking place on 12th-20th Sept. at the Powdermills Hotel, TN33 OSP. I was lucky to be one of those chosen and am showing 3 paintings.

They Stayed Until Sundown – Angela Brittain

The latest of these was inspired by a lovely family picnic I have just been on. I was struck by how the simplest of pleasures are often the most enjoyable but also how many creatures share these lovely places both by day and at night. This painting is called, “They stayed until sundown” and was done in water soluble crayon and gouache.

The Secret – Angela Brittain

The other two paintings I am showing are ‘The Secret” and “You lift me up” which are oil on canvas.
