In the 90s Portugal, in parallel with my activities as an architect/urban planner with a vast body of work, I dedicated myself exclusively to teaching in Higher Education (1986/2012) Painting and Poetry to the present day.

My name’s Mary Ene Dominion am a sculptor artist whose base is in Otukpo Benue state Nigeria. Am a graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2014 with a BFA. Through my art practice, I use wood as one of her mediums for working. I have a passion for carving wood. I make traditional African masks using modern abstract designs and cubism as my style.

For centuries, grapes and wine have posed countless times for painters and sculptors who represented them in a multitude of shapes and tastes. This exhibition opens on August 10 in my virtual gallery and can be appreciated from the comfort of your homes worldwide. The exhibition will remain until September 30.

Architecture is the graphic and building means of reconciling art with engineering. But, for me, who started the intimacy of expressing my emotions, aesthetics, and cultural values through drawing, already at the beginning of college, this link has always remained latent. And that’s why art!

Art is present in everything. In every corner, in every line of life. Inside and outside of us. It had a great influence on the world since its beginnings, since the beginning of everything.

Kingsley Nnaemeka Ebunyebe is a sculptor he was born 1986 in Southeast Nigeria. He started his art career from childhood, later went at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, where he obtain NCE.

What advice would you give to other artists or future artists?
Be an eternal learner, read, research, keep a mind always curious and open to new years with knowledge. But when it comes to nurturing your art, follow your heart and your intuition. Follow your rules and avoid idioms, criticisms and self-criticism.

On this occasion we invite artists to participate in the virtual exhibition “Through the Window” a very broad and interesting topic, since you can see so many things, if you look out the window you can see people, landscapes, animals, cars , various objects and even abstract what one sees, therefore we can appreciate from figurative to abstract works.

The fascination with the shine of metal has been with us for centuries and since antiquity the obsession with wealth and power has generated conflicts, wars and losses…and amidst these movements: symbols, beliefs and religions.

Art has always been present for me since I could see myself, since I was very young I would exchange any toy for a sheet of paper and a pencil.

On this occasion, it invites the artists to participate in the exhibition with the theme La Niñez, which will take place within the framework of the World Art Day celebrations, as well as in the month of April in which the Day of the Child.

The practice of graffiti emerged in Paris and New York.
